Richmond, CA Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 3:30 pm (37.5 hours per week)

Instructor 1 in Richmond The Instructor I provides compassionate care and supervision for adults with disabilities, supporting them in achieving their personal goals through engaging and meaningful activities. These activities range from arts and crafts to exercise, as well as community outings such as bowling and movie trips. Throughout the day, the Instructor I assists with personal care needs, including changing adult briefs, pushing wheelchairs, and providing feeding support as necessary. Additionally, they document participant progress by compiling data and maintaining accurate records to assess program success. This dynamic role is both rewarding and fast-paced, offering a fulfilling opportunity to make a positive impact every day.
What You'll Do:
Engage and support participants in a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, games, holiday parties, costume contests, music, cooking classes, and exciting field trips. Provide verbal and physical support in daily program activities, both in-house and within the community. Manage participants' medical and personal care needs, including assistance with bathroom use, changing of adult briefs, and assistance with feeding. Implement lesson plans and collect valuable data to enhance our programs.
Must Have:
Valid CA driver's license. Good driving record.
