Adult Tennis Teaching Pro Youth Tennis San Diego San Diego, CA Job Details From $17.75 an hour 16 hours ago Qualifications Student engagement techniques Student engagement classroom management Full Job Description Youth Tennis San Diego seeks professional, motivated, and experienced tennis instructors/coaches to join our Youth Tennis San Diego team at Barnes Tennis Center. We are looking for coaches who are passionate about teaching adult players of all levels, from beginners to advanced recreational and competitive players. Ideal candidates should possess strong coaching experience, high on-court energy, professionalism, and the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for adult students.
Responsibilities:
Promote and teach adult clinics, private lessons, and adult tennis programs Organize and maintain daily teaching schedules Conduct player evaluations and provide constructive feedback Enforce all department and company policies Present yourself in a positive and professional manner at all times Accurately record hours worked and maintain timekeeping records
Position Requirements and Skills:
Previous coaching experience in adult clinics and/or private lessons preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and engage adult players of varying skill levels USPTA or PTR certification preferred Ability to handle stressful situations professionally Work well in a team environment Live Scan fingerprinting, background check, and SafePlay Certification required. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of both. Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
