You'll teach smart, fun, and diverse students from around the world, bringing your classroom to life while helping them achieve their language goals. With a supportive onsite Director of Education, dedicated administrators, ample teacher resources, and a fully developed curriculum, you'll have everything you need to succeed from day one.
Position Details Start Date:
Summer 2026 (starting June 2026 )•training to begin
Mid June Schedule:
Morning classes (Monday•Thursday, 9:00am•1:30pm)

Paid prep pay each pay period + professional development stipend after two successful quarters Role & Responsibilities Experience with both beginning and advanced ESL learners Ability to create engaging, student-centered lessons that go beyond the textbook with interactive, communicative activities Strong grasp of grammar rules and ability to explain them clearly Creativity in designing real-life, objective-driven activities that make learning memorable Experience recognizing student needs and adjusting lessons/approach accordingly Able to balance engaging lessons with clear structure and effective classroom management Teaching experience with young adults and adults (16+) in 50-75 min class blocks Previous ESL teaching experience in an Intensive English Program setting preferred ( Applicants with other ESL/EFL teaching experience, including overseas, are encouraged to apply ) Perks & Culture Paid training, prep, and provided textbooks/materials Competitive pay for Intensive English Program setting Engaging in-house training workshops + ongoing professional development Opportunities for additional afternoon/evening classes or private tutoring Monthly social activities celebrating American culture and traditions Free parking A welcoming, collaborative team of educators who care about students' success and support each other's growth At AEC, teaching is more than a job — it's a chance to inspire, learn, and grow alongside your students and colleagues.
