Schedule/Location:
Year-round, full-time, on-site at the Miccosukee Employment and Training Center (Miccosukee Reservation). Remote work is not available. Position Overview The Lead Instructor & Program Teacher supports adult and youth education services by providing academic instruction and supporting college and career readiness for Miccosukee students. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree required (Teacher Certification preferred) Experience working with adolescents and adults Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Reliable attendance and ability to work full-time on-site Key Responsibilities Provide instruction and tutoring in core subjects (math, reading, and language) for Adult Education and Higher Education students Support Higher Education students with coursework, study skills, and academic success planning Coordinate and teach within the Summer Youth Program (career readiness, job training, mentoring, field/ college trips, and Everglades conservation activities) Maintain accurate, confidential student records and contact information Other duties as assigned to support program and grant requirements Drug Screen and Background Check Required.
