Job Description
The Adult Day Service program uses a mixture of structured and unstructured 1:1 and small-group activities that stimulate multiple senses, encourage reminiscing, and draw upon remaining capacities. We tailor activities to the functional and cognitive level of individual participants. We provide a supportive environment that reduces participant anxiety and inactivity and promotes a sense of personhood and identity. Responsibilities vary from participant to participant and include the routine care provided in an in-home setting.
