Landscape Arboretum, Chaska, MN Overview Join a fast paced work-team providing plant based experiences to adults at the Arboretum. This position assists the Manager of Adult Education to plan and deliver high quality educational experiences to Arboretum class attendees in the areas of photography, art, horticulture, culinary arts, and literature. The Adult Education Program Associate will work to ensure that all programs are defined, organized, and facilitated on schedule. This is a somewhat flexible position with hours between Tuesday and Saturday. Occasional night and hybrid online activities will be required. Serve as class facilitator by welcoming students, take attendance, help with class setup, distribute and collect evaluations, etc. Cultivate leads for potential adult education instructors and gather information on potential workshop content and share with the Adult Education Manager. Assist with class planning and implementation details such as; entering class descriptions in an online database, printing class rosters, gathering class supplies, and others as assigned Liaison with the volunteer department to recruit and schedule volunteers to assist with adult education programs.
