  • Midtown is seeking an ESL teacher for our adult student population.
The Role:
English Teacher Salary:
$25/hr
  • > Bachelor's, $27/hr
  • > Master's, $29/hr
  • > PhD (This is the set, nonnegotiable payscale)
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 9:00AM-2:00PM ALL four days 20 hours/week
Instructional:
Deliver interactive curriculum. Adhere to policies set forth in the Faculty Handbook and School Directors, including professional development requirements. Promoter, encourage and be an example of communicative teaching methods in ESL instruction. Ensure accurate class start and end time. Prepare Lesson Plans. Grade Tests. Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner, Ensure effective application of curricula, syllabi and materials. Check daily rosters and keep student attendance. Organize relevant field trips. 100% In-Person Curriculum Participate in curriculum development activities, as needed, including: accreditation and certification submissions, annual review, academic planning and review, needs analysis, surveys, etc. Participate in meetings and/or review relevant materials . Administrative Perform administrative tasks to ensure program functionality and success. Maintain accurate and timely records of student grades, attendance and class promotion.. Keep organized records and maintain an orderly and secure filing system. Participate in conducting student surveys. Follow policies and guidelines set forth by management
