Job Description

POSITION
Aspire/GED Academic Instructor Part-Time Position in various location throughout the county
RESPONSIBLE TO
Special Grants Supervisor
REQUIREMENTS
Current Ohio Teaching License, Bachelor's Degree Minimum and Classroom Experience The Aspire/GED Instructor is responsible for providing high-quality academic instruction to adult learners preparing to earn their High School Equivalency (GED) diploma, while creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that promotes student success. Responsibilities include assessing student skill levels, developing individualized learning plans, tracking attendance and progress, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting students with career and postsecondary readiness goals.
SALARY:
$24 per hour
WORK WEEK/YEAR
48 weeks/year, 10-20 hours per week
