Adult Swim Instructor Title:

Adventure awaits as an Adult Swim Instructor at Orca Swim School. In this role, you are one part water lover and two parts life coach! While swimming is one of the best forms of exercise, it can be intimidating for many people. That is because if you don't know how to swim, then swimming can feel like an impossible mountain to climb. But we don't believe that has to be the case. And as an Adult Swim Instructor with us, you can join our mission to change lives. The ideal candidate for our adult swim instructor job opening is someone who loves being around people and can provide inspiration and motivation to others. This position requires someone who can listen well to their students while keeping them safe and encouraged. And your natural outgoing personality allows you to quickly build rapport with the students so that they trust you to help them reach their goal of learning to swim.

Candidates must be able to:

Certify as a Lifeguard Complete online and in-person training Be highly reliable and responsible Enjoy learning and being adaptable Work independently Confident in deep water Understand the concepts of institutional racism and bias About this job: Part-time up to 5-15 hours/week Teach at private pools or community center pool Work with small groups and private lessons in 3-4 hours shifts Continue training with the main office located in
