FACULTY: Adjunct Instructor of Agriculture

Adjunct Instructor of Agriculture Description Eastern Oklahoma State College is a comprehensive community college providing instruction in a wide range of curricula.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in agriculture with 18 graduate hours in Agriculture or related field; candidates pursuing a master's degree may be considered with the understanding that the degree must be completed expeditiously Preference will be given to candidates with experience in agriculture subject matter to include Horticulture, Agriculture Economics, Agronomy, Forestry, and Wildlife. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to the mission of Eastern Oklahoma State College Other related duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

MS in Agriculture or related field, prior college teaching experience, developing and instructing courses with technology-based delivery methods

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will teach courses in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Ag Economics or Wildlife. Responsibilities include teaching up to 6 credit hours each semester. Position requires teaching online, in-person or hybrid. Candidates selected for interviews will be required to make a teaching presentation as part of the interview process. Teaching must demonstrate a learner-centered philosophy and ability to engage and retain students.

Salary:

$1350.00 per 3 credit hour course.
