BIOT 460
Scientific Communication in Biotechnology Course description: Study of communication principles and rhetorical strategies employed to effectively communicate with intended audiences in the context of the biotechnology industry. Students will apply this knowledge to plan, prepare, construct, and evaluate communication situations in which they participate as both producers and consumers of communication in careers related to biotechnology. Minimum qualifications: A master's degree or equivalent professional experience in Biological Sciences or related fields Per the California State University's Out-of-State Employment Policy, the CSU is prohibited from hiring employees to perform CSU-related work outside California. Working in the State of California is a condition of employment. Preferred qualifications: A doctorate or equivalent in Biological Sciences, and related fields Experience teaching similar courses in 4-year universities Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate intercultural competence and a commitment to serving our campus community as it relates to teaching and, as applicable, service. Salary commensurate with degree level and experience:

    Requirements:
