The Robert Reich School of Landscape Architecture at Louisiana State University Marie M. Bickham Endowed Chair should be prepared to participate in the life of the School through teaching, lectures, demonstrations, and/or studio critiques, and engage with both students and faculty. Responsibilities While in Residence, the Bickham Chair participates in a studio, conducts a workshop or seminar, and presents a public lecture. The final assignments of the Chair and the terms of residency are developed in collaboration with the Director of the School of Landscape Architecture and the Dean of the College of Art + Design. Be prepared to participate fully in the daily life of the School of Landscape Architecture and the College of Art + Design. Promotes excellence in teaching, scholarship, service, and engagement. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in landscape architecture or a related field. 8 - 10 years experience Significant national or international reputation. Significant record of creative activity through exhibitions, publications, awards, and/or professional achievement. Additional Job Description The Robert Reich School of Landscape Architecture (RRSLA) is committed to excellence and advancement of landscape architectural education through research, theory and practice, innovation, critical thinking, and iterative making rooted in the context of the Gulf Coast and American South. The school has an established international reputation as one of America's leading and consistently top-ranked programs offering degrees leading to the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and the Master of Landscape Architecture. For more than 60 years, the school has produced landscape architects who globally practice and participate in the full spectrum of the discipline.
