Full Job Description Job Title:
Architecture Instructor We are seeking an engaging and knowledgeable Architecture Instructor to lead a one-week summer program for high school students in Boston. This course introduces students to architectural design, history, and modeling through a mix of classroom instruction and hands-on projects.
Responsibilities:
Teach foundational concepts in architecture, including design, style, and urban planning Guide students in sketching, drafting, and basic architectural design techniques Support students in creating physical and/or digital models Lead discussions on architectural styles and notable structures Supervise local outings where students sketch and photograph Boston architecture Help students develop a small portfolio of their work
Qualifications:
Background in architecture, design, or a related field Experience teaching, mentoring, or working with teens preferred Familiarity with hand drafting and/or basic design software Strong communication and organizational skills
