Job Description

General Description:
The purpose of this position is to coordinate and prepare documents and submission information needed for regulatory compliance of pesticides under the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and other applicable government agencies. This role also supports Valent's Technology organization by ensuring long-term access to high-quality information from specialized tools, databases, and external sources that support R&D projects. Additionally, this position provides database administration, records management, and user support for project management and administrative software tools used to manage R&D initiatives efficiently.
Principal Responsibilities:
Support access to internal and external information sources for R&D projects Provide indexing, archival, and retrieval services for critical scientific and regulatory documents (physical and electronic) Serve as lead archivist , recording and archiving data in Central Files Develop and recommend improvements to records management strategies based on technology and business needs Provide database administration, training, documentation, and user support for project management tools Coordinate, prepare, and submit documents to federal and government agencies, including: New applications Amendments Regulatory responses Data for reregistration and compliance actions Maintain and update databases and tracking systems for federal submissions Coordinate scheduling and tracking of submissions with: Project Managers Central Files Administrator Labeling Specialist Regulatory Sciences team EPA processing contacts Ensure compliance with: 40 CFR (Code of Federal Regulations)

Pesticide Registration Manual PR Notices EPA Central Data Exchange (CDX) Lead internal communication with IT for technical troubleshooting and systems support Coordinate with Valent Technical Center on study/report processing Support additional departmental projects as needed
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of database systems BA/BS (or equivalent); MBA is a plus 2-5 years of related experience Strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams
Pay:
$23.00 - $30.00 per hour
