The Records Technician performs all standard records management functions in the Records Services Center (RSC), including responding to new physical file creation requests; completing requests for files from off-site or on-site; checking files in and out; preparing boxes for shipment to the off-site storage facility; performing audits on all physical files; assisting staff with questions; and running ad hoc reports as needed. This role is located in-person at our beautiful downtown Denver office, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Works effectively with the firm's records management software. Performs all records management functions in accordance with established standards, procedures and guidelines as directed by the Records & Information Manager, including file creation and routing, box and supply management, daily pickup/delivery operations, vendor coordination for shredding and offsite storage services, and quality control audits to ensure compliance and proper organization. Interfaces with firm staff and users in a professional manner and responds to requests for active files, inactive files, and other records management questions in a timely fashion to meet customer service objectives. Effectively communicates with secretaries, paralegals, and offsite storage vendor to ensure customer service objectives and quality expectations are met in a timely manner. Performs other RSC special tasks and projects as directed by the Manager. Other duties as needed to drive to the vision, fulfil the mission and abide by the values of the organization.Competencies:

Job Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certification): One (1) + years of records management or archival experience required or a Master of Library and Information Science degree or equivalent required; previous experience in legal records management strongly preferred. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Records Management, Library Science, or a related field preferred. Certificate in Archival and Records Management preferred. Experience with records management software and understanding of fundamental records management methodology. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment among staff and with users, demonstrating excellent customer service. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work effectively in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadline pressures. Must have excellent computer skills, organizational skills, time management ability, and attention to detail.Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee must have the ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time; manipulate (lift, carry, move) weights of at least forty (40) pounds; have repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on a computer, file audit hardware, and/or related office equipment; speak clearly and concisely so listeners can understand; and regularly understand the speech of another person. Professional office atmosphere in a work center environment with multiple team members in the same room. This position requires full-time, onsite presence in the Denver office. Holland & Hart offers of employment take into consideration a candidate's education, training, and experience, as well as the position's work location, external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees. Colorado Salary Range - $22.42 to $37.37 per hour. A discretionary bonus may be available based upon performance.Application Window:
