(ZAI) is seeking a Subject Matter Expert II (Records Management) to support onsite Records & Information Management (RIM) activities at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for Contract/Task Order 33. This role requires expertise in all phases of lifecycle records management, including conducting records inventories, developing file plans, and drafting records control schedules. The ideal candidate will have detailed knowledge of Federal records management requirements and electronic recordkeeping practices. Duties /
Functional Responsibilities:
Serves as an expert in all phases of lifecycle records management Conducts records inventories Develops file plans (taxonomies) Drafts records control schedules Applies detailed knowledge of Federal records management issues and specialties Applies detailed knowledge of electronic recordkeeping practices, including:
  • Email management
  • Digital imaging
  • Cloud storage
  • Social media
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree (or higher) related to Records Information Management with five (5) years of professional records management experience OR Bachelor's degree related to Records Information Management with ten (10) years of professional records management experience Expertise in records lifecycle management Experience conducting records inventories Experience developing file plans (taxonomies) Experience drafting records control schedules Detailed knowledge of Federal records management Detailed knowledge of electronic recordkeeping practices
