This is a Contract position focused on preparing physical files for imaging, creating accurate electronic records, and maintaining strong quality standards throughout the process. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with scanning equipment, handling high-volume document tasks, and supporting organized archival practices.
Responsibilities:
Prepare paper records for imaging by organizing, sorting, and reviewing documents before scanning Operate sheet-fed and thermal scanning equipment to convert physical files into clear digital images Check scanned output for completeness, readability, and accuracy to help protect data integrity Apply indexing details and coding information so electronic records can be retrieved efficiently Create CDs or other requested media outputs when document files need to be distributed or archived Support records management activities by maintaining orderly digital and physical document workflows Use imaging tools and related software to process files in accordance with established procedures Experience performing document scanning, photocopying, or image-based records processing Ability to follow established procedures and quality assurance standards with strong attention to detail Familiarity with document imaging systems, scanning hardware, or archival software is preferred Understanding of records management, electronic archiving, or micrographics is a plus Comfortable handling repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy in a high-volume environment Basic coding or indexing experience related to document management is preferred Ability to organize materials efficiently and manage multiple document batches within deadlines Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
