$15.45/hour Part-time benefits include: paid holidays, sick leave, and access to on-site wellness clinic Must be available to work all public service hoursPOSITION SUMMARY
The Processor is responsible for preparing library materials for distribution and circulation.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In cooperation with the Assistant Collections Manager, the Director of Collections, and other Collections Team colleagues, the Processor will advance the library's mission, vision, strategic priorities, and brand. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Selects and applies all necessary labels, stickers, stamps, markings, and protective coverings to library materials in multiple formats. Encodes RFID security tags. Routes outgoing materials to appropriate branch libraries and personnel. Assists in the review, repair, and/or deselection of incoming branch library materials. Performs special duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
Basic:
High School Diploma or GED. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel, as well as Google Suite products. Must be able to exert up to 25 pounds of force regularly and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently. Must have reliable and timely transportation to and from work.Preferred:
1+ years' experience in a public library setting, Collections Technical Services Department work preferred. 1+ years' experience processing inventory. A continuous learner with a welcoming attitude, a collaborative work ethic, and a desire to go above and beyond to serve our diverse community.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work requires preparing or analyzing written or computer data, operating motor vehicles or equipment, and observing general surroundings and activities.
