Job Description

Primary Purpose Help modernize how the County manages, preserves, and accesses its records. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organizing information, working with technology, and ensuring accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct physical records inventories to ensure accuracy, organization, and accessibility Coordinate records storage, including box transfers and file retrievals Operate and troubleshoot desktop and wide-format scanners; report technical issues as needed Prepare, sort, and scan physical documents while maintaining proper order and formatting Ensure protection and confidentiality of sensitive information Index and label electronic files; organize and maintain SharePoint cloud storage and backups Perform quality checks by comparing scanned documents to original records Clean and maintain scanning equipment to ensure optimal performance Support administrative tasks, reporting, and special projects as assigned Qualifications Minimum Requirements Experience in an office or administrative environment Basic familiarity with computers, scanners, or copiers Preferred Skills & Abilities Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable using Windows-based systems and office equipment Ability to follow instructions and quickly learn new tools and processes Strong time management and ability to work independently Excellent communication and teamwork skills High level of integrity when handling confidential information Ability to analyze and interpret records and reports Work Environment Work is performed in both office and records storage/warehouse settings Regular activities include standing, walking, sitting, and handling materials May involve lifting up to 30 pounds Occasional exposure to dust, noise, and warehouse equipment Use of scanning equipment and computer screens is required Why Join Us?
