Job Description:
The graduate assistants will work in the archives of The Texas Collection. Under the supervision and direction of the director and archivist, the graduate assistant will analyze, arrange, and preliminarily process manuscript collections. In addition, they will prepare finding aids and other research tools and assist with research inquiries. The primary function of the graduate assistant is in preparing and organizing collections for use by the public. Secondary duties will be assigned by the archivists as needed. This may involve anything from pulling collections, filing, scanning or monitoring the reading room.
