The School of Art in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Arkansas invites applications for two open tenure-track Associate Professor or Professor of Art Education positions to start in August 2026. This is a 9-month faculty appointment with a standard academic workload of 40% teaching, 40% research/creative activity, and 20% service. Exceptional candidates may have the potential for appointment as Endowed Chair in the School of Art which is designed to support the academic and professional development of the holder. The holder of the Endowed Chair position is expected to lead in the building of a nationally competitive Art Education program, encourage and engage in research and foster the participation, recruitment and retention of undergraduate and graduate students in the School of Art.
