This is an open continuous vacancy announcement that will be used to fill adjunct vacancies as they occur. The Department of Art in the College of Arts and Sciences at American University invites applications for a number of adjunct faculty positions for upcoming Academic Years. We seek applications for candidates qualified to teach in the fields of Art History (BA and/or MA), Graphic Design (BA), and Studio Art (BA and/or MFA). Rank will depend on an applicant's highest degree earned in Art. The applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The Department is organized under the College of Arts and Sciences, which is where scholarship in the Arts, Humanities, and Sciences is pursued.
