Concordia seeks educators who are committed to academic excellence and to fostering the development of wise, honorable citizens who serve as Christian witnesses in their professions and communities. Candidates should be able to thoughtfully integrate their Christian faith with their teaching, scholarship, and professional practice. Responsibilities Adjunct faculty members may teach introductory and upper-division theatre courses, maintain office hours, and collaborate with full-time faculty. Course assignments will vary based on departmental needs; a complete list of offerings can be found in the Concordia University Irvine catalog (https://catalog.cui.edu/). Opportunities to mentor undergraduate research students may also be available. Qualifications Qualified applicants will demonstrate a commitment to the Christian faith and the mission of Lutheran liberal arts education, along with a record of effective teaching.
