The Department of Music Engineering is seeking a Part-Time Lecturer to teach MUE 621 - Critical Listening for Audio Engineers, a fully online graduate course. This course develops advanced listening skills for professional audio engineers, including identification of frequency regions, recognition of processing artifacts, evaluation of spectral balance and dynamics, and application of structured "golden ears" listening assessments. The role includes delivering asynchronous course content, facilitating discussions, and providing detailed feedback on listening exercises and technical assignments. Candidates must hold a degree in Audio Engineering, Music Engineering, Acoustics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and have substantial professional experience in audio production, mixing, mastering, post-production, or related technical audio domains.
