Position Summary The Department of Communication and Media at the University of Southern Indiana invites applicants for lecturers to teach
CMST 101
Introduction to Public Speaking and
CMST 107
Introduction to Interpersonal Communication. Required Knowledge and Skills Part-time public speaking lecturers are required to either: (1) have a minimum of a master's degree in communication, or (2) hold a master's degree in a different academic area and have successfully completed at least eighteen (18) graduate credit hours of communication coursework. Part-time faculty in media production are required to either: (1) have a minimum of a master's degree in communication, mass communication, or journalism, or (2) hold a master's degree in a different academic area and have successfully completed at least eighteen (18) graduate credit hours of communication coursework, or (3) hold a master's degree in a different academic area and have successfully completed at least 5 or more years of professional experience related to the specific area of teaching.
