Job Description

We are located approximately 20 miles north of Boston and parking is free. We are also accessible by commuter rail on the Newburyport/Rockport line. The School of Visual and Performing Arts is currently seeking an e xperienced Hip Hop adjunct professor with expertise across a wide range of hip hop styles and techniques, including but not limited to popping, locking, and voguing. Demonstrates a strong understanding of hip hop foundations, history, and culture while fostering technical development, artistic expression, and authenticity in student learning experiences. The course is in Fall semester, with classes starting on 9/1/26 and ending on 12/18/26:

COMPENSATION PER COURSE
Payment for each course is $1,100. All courses meet in person. Each section meets for 1 hr and 15 minutes a week.
Instructors are expected to:
Deliver the course(s) in person or online in their assigned time blocks. Abide by Endicott's academic policies as described in the College's faculty handbook. Use the course description and honor the learning outcomes of each course. Use Canvas as the course's learning management system. Meet deadlines for roster verification and submission of grades. Communicate with the dean or other administrators if issues arise concerning the teaching of specific classes. Meet with students if they request assistance or need clarification for any course-related matter, if requested. Provide samples of student work that may be used for assessment purposes. Use the Endicott email when communicating with students outside of class.
Qualifications:
A minimum of a Master's degree is required, and college-level teaching experience is preferred.
