CASH078 The School of Creative Arts at the University of Lincoln is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Music on a 0.5FTE basis for a fixed term of two years. The teaching part of this role will primarily involve delivery for our undergraduate Music programme. Alongside teaching and student support, you will engage in research appropriate to your career stage, contributing to the School's eclectic environment of research and practice. We are looking for someone who is able to teach in a variety of practical and academic areas. There will be some flexibility based on the successful candidate's specialism, but you should be confident in teaching intermediate to advanced music theory; arranging music for small instrumental groups, including score and part preparation; leading classical instrumental groups; and teaching across diverse creative and performance traditions. Teaching may include contribution to contextual and critical modules in music studies / musicology: your research specialism will be reflected in the teaching you provide in these modules. You may also contribute to multi-programme 'creative arts' modules, such as the first-year 'Exploring 1: The Creative Arts' module. You will be expected to lead a variety of undergraduate modules and contribute to supervision of student projects.
