Adjunct Faculty - Visual, Performing and Media Arts

The Visual, Performing and Media Arts department at Middlesex College invites applications for part-time Adjunct Faculty Members to teach the following subjects: Media Arts & Design (Graphic Design) In-person and remote online, with a focus on computer-based software, equipment expertise and contemporary contentMedia Arts & Design (Gaming and Animation) In-person and remote online, with a focus on computer-based software, equipment expertise and contemporary contentCommunication (Public Speaking)- In-person delivery to teach the Fundamentals of Public SpeakingVisual Art (Introduction to Art) - In person with a focus on increasing appreciate of art and building skills that explore elementary two and three-dimensional problems in fine art.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Masters Degree in the subject or a related discipline (MFA, or for Communication; a Masters degree in Communication)Content expertise in subject areaExperience teaching in a face to face, online or remote learning environment in higher education

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Familiarity with Canvas learning management systemActive and inclusive pedagogyExperience teaching adult learners and learners from diverse backgrounds
