Description :
The Moores School of Music at the University of Houston invites applications for the position of Visiting Professor of Music and Interim Director of the Moores School of Music. The Interim Director will provide short-term artistic and academic leadership for the Moores School, overseeing academic programs, operations, and budget. The Interim Director will report to the Dean of the Kathrine G. McGovern College of the Arts, with an expected appointment duration of twelve months. Candidate must have significant experience in academic administration at the level of music department chair or dean. Ideal candidate will have an artistic or scholarly record in an area of performance, teaching, research and leadership. PhD required.
