The Teacher is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and assessing an effective classroom instructional program. This includes utilizing the school-adopted curriculum and established scope and sequence of instruction that serves all students with a focus on project-based learning and cultural awareness. Responsibilities also include developing and delivering lesson plans, designing instructional activities, and maintaining accurate gradebook records. The Art and Innovation Teacher must promote an understanding of the school rules and the United Auburn Indian Community's cultural heritage and values. This position must routinely use tact, poise, and good judgment while communicating with internal and external contacts, offices, and organizations.
