The ideal candidate will have a strong background in art education and a commitment to fostering a love for creativity among students. This role involves developing lesson plans, and teaching techniques, and encouraging students to express themselves through art. Duties Develop and implement engaging art curriculum that meets educational standards and caters to diverse learning styles. Teach various art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital media. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their artistic skills. Organize art exhibitions or showcases to display student work and celebrate their achievements. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate art into the broader educational experience. Maintain an organized classroom with necessary supplies and equipment for art projects. Requirements A degree from a recognized university in Art Education or a related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of various art forms, techniques, and teaching methodologies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively. A passion for teaching and inspiring students in their artistic endeavors. Previous teaching experience is an advantage but not mandatory; enthusiasm for the subject is key. Ability to create lesson plans that are both educational and enjoyable for students of all skill levels.
