In our classes, we use acrylic paints on various surfaces and teach the class step by step. Most of our guests have no painting experience and we want all of them to have great success! That is where you come in. We are looking for energetic, fun artists with teaching experience to work in a creative and exciting environment! This is no ordinary art class - we are all about having FUN! Our classes are a pARTy, and you are the host! Artist, art instructor, or related sip and paint experience Prepainting the scheduled painting of the day Set / clean-up class Possess the skills and knowledge of an artist and the ability to direct guests Excellent communication and presentation skills Checking in customers and reconciling payment and attendance Ability to lead the event and communicate with the guests Must be able to guide classes of up to 50 adults and/or children to paint an acrylic painting in two to three hours Positive attitude and genuinely excited to help guests Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively Ability to work Saturday - Sunday between the hours of 9 AM & 10 PM Report to Operations Manager Age 21+ Sketch and paint in our studio as part of the interview process Offering and serving guests refreshments which may include alcoholic beverages Capturing the fun being had during the class with photos and short videos and posting on social media Offering an encouraging, fun, upbeat, and exciting painting experience to our guests Tear down and cleaning up including paint brush cleaning after class Preparing the studio for the next scheduled class Please go to our website http://www.paintingwithatwist.com/studio/santa-clarita to familiarize yourself with our business and the type of art you will be expected to teach.
