0.6 FTE $34,386-$62,249 base salary, paid hourly, for the 190-day school year, plus possible extra duty pay and higher education stipend
Customary Work Schedule :
Monday - Friday, 24 hours/week during the 2026-2027 school year, plus some evenings and weekends for performances. Position Summary This is a position to teach three sections of Art to middle and high school students. Currently, the prospective assignment is two sections of Art 1 and one section of a new course entitled "Community Art". Minimum Requirements & Competencies Bachelor's Degree (History/Social Science major or minor preferred) Teaching credential and experience preferred (or 18 units of social science/history credit on college transcripts) Ability to manage instructional time effectively, prioritizing student learning. Responsiveness to students' unique needs, identities, and learning preferences. Ability to effectively communicate with students, staff, parents and the public with patience and courtesy, in a manner that reflects PCS values. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
