Art & Wellness Instructor (Yoga + Intuitive Art)

Responsibilities Design and deliver innovative yoga classes that incorporate various styles such as Hatha, Vinyasa, or Restorative, tailored to different skill levels and needs Facilitate intuitive art sessions that encourage self-expression, mindfulness, and emotional release through painting, drawing, or mixed media Integrate knowledge of physiology, body mechanics, and anatomy to ensure safe practice and optimal benefits for participants Develop customized wellness programs that combine physical movement with creative arts to support clients' mental and emotional health Lead group fitness classes in a gym or health club setting, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all attendees Educate participants on the benefits of body awareness, stretching techniques, and breathing exercises aligned with yoga principles Promote wellness services and classes to increase engagement and membership participation while maintaining a welcoming environment Qualifications Proven experience teaching yoga, intuitive art, or related group fitness classes with strong instructional skills Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and program design to ensure safe and effective instruction Familiarity with fitness disciplines such as Pilates, CrossFit, cycling, dancing, sports coaching or personal training is a plus Ability to inspire creativity while guiding participants through mindful movement and artistic expression Excellent communication skills with a passion for health, wellness, and community building Certification in yoga instruction (RYT or equivalent) required; additional certifications in fitness training or arts facilitation are advantageous Prior experience working in a health club or wellness center environment preferred Embark on a rewarding journey where movement meets artistry!
