05/05/2026 Our Lady of the Holy Rosary St. Richard Catholic School in Cutler Bay, Florida has an opening for a qualified Art Teacher for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate is passionate about visual arts and fostering creativity in students across PK-8th Grade. This individual will inspire students through a variety of artistic mediums while supporting the school's mission through the integration of faith and learning. The Art Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Archdiocese of Miami.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in art education, fine arts, or a related field. Valid teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain certification in Florida). Must obtain catechetical certification from the Archdiocese of Miami Office of Catechesis within three years of hire. Experience teaching art to primary, elementary, and middle school students. Ability to design and implement engaging lessons across a variety of media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media. Knowledge of art history and the ability to incorporate cultural and historical context into instruction. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to integrate faith-based values and, when appropriate, elements of Catholic identity into art instruction. Comfortable organizing and displaying student artwork through school exhibits and events. Able to multi-task and maintain accuracy in an environment with competing priorities. Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in a Catholic school environment preferred. Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
