PART-TIME ART TEACHER

Part-time About Us:
At Children's Art Classes , creativity is at the heart of everything we do. We're passionate about empowering children through art education that fosters confidence, imagination, and self-expression. Our Meridian studio is a supportive, joyful environment where students (ages 3 and up) explore a wide range of mediums and techniques through a thoughtfully developed curriculum.
Who We're Looking For:
We're searching for an experienced and certified Art Instructor who brings passion, structure, and enthusiasm to the classroom. You'll be a key part of our mission to make high-quality art education accessible and fun for all children.
Responsibilities:
Be coachable Marketing Lead weekly art classes for children ages 3 and up, following our established curriculum Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment Manage class time efficiently and maintain classroom order Prepare classroom materials and set up workspaces before each session Offer individualized support to help students explore techniques and build confidence Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, classroom updates, events, upcoming classes, camps, and workshops Attend and participate in mandatory monthly teacher training and occasional studio events Maintain a clean and organized teaching space at the end of each class (sweeping, mopping, dusting, and ensure all supplies are put away for the next day)
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
✅ A degree in Art Education or Fine Arts (Bachelor's required) ✅ At least 2 years of classroom teaching experience (with children) ✅ A solid background in a variety of art mediums (drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, etc.) ✅ Excellent classroom management and organizational skills ✅ Strong communication abilities to connect with both students and parents ✅ A genuine love for teaching and inspiring young artists
