QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Applicants must hold a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and be properly certified to meet Illinois Teaching License Standards. A Professional Educator License (PEL) is required. 2. Excellent organizational skills. 3. Strong interpersonal and intrapersonal skills. 4. Excellent written and oral communication skills. 5. Ability to work with a linguistically and culturally diverse community.
JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES
: 1. Plan and conduct art workshops and activities tailored to participants' needs and skill levels. 2. Maintain and organize art materials, tools, and classroom spaces. 3. Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages self-expression and creativity. 4. Establish positive working relationships with staff, students, and families. 5. Develop rapport and supportive relationships with students and parents. 6. Exhibit legal and ethical behavior in their professional practices; follow and implement all District rules, regulations, practices, and policies. 7. Demonstrate high professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality and personal flexibility in all areas. 8. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be requested by the principal or designee.
