We're looking for someone with strong pottery experience, a passion for teaching, and the ability to inspire students of all levels. About the Role We're seeking an instructor who brings both technical skill and a warm, encouraging presence to the classroom. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in wheel throwing, hand-building, glazing, and decorating, along with a knack for guiding students through projects with confidence and creativity. Classes feature unique project demonstrations, including dedicated glazing and decorating sessions. Instruction runs two hours , followed by 30 minutes of cleanup , with flexible scheduling available. What You'll Do Teach engaging ceramic classes for beginners through advanced students Demonstrate a variety of pottery techniques (wheel throwing, hand-building, trimming, glazing, surface design) Share creative project ideas and guide students through weekly demonstrations Maintain a welcoming, positive, and student-centered classroom Support students with individualized feedback and hands-on assistance Help ensure the studio remains clean, safe, and inviting What We're Looking For Proven experience teaching ceramics or pottery Strong technical knowledge across a variety of ceramic skills Friendly, positive, and enthusiastic teaching style Creative mindset and a collaborative attitude Reliable, communicative, and attentive to detail How to Apply Please email your resume , portfolio , and one teaching-related references to:
