Teen Afternoon Summer Art Program Instructor Description:
The Munroe Center for the Arts is looking for instructors for its new three-week Teen Afternoon Art Program this Summer. The primary focus of the Summer Teen Art Program will be on strengthening students skills' in drawing and painting, while also giving them an opportunity to work in basic making and mixed media. The Teen Art Program will inspire students and help them develop their own unique personal artistic style and voice. We have a need for a teacher for the following two weeks: July 13 -17 - M-F (12:00-3:00) Aug. 3-7 - M-F (12:00-3:00) Classes will take place in the Munroe Center's making Studio at 1403 Mass. Ave. in Lexington.
Qualifications:
We're looking for candidates who have a background in teaching art to teens and adolescents--who want to inspire young artists and help them build confidence in their art-making abilities. Experience in creating Art-Focused Lesson Plans is a plus. Recent college graduates and retired teachers are encouraged to .
