The ideal candidate will foster creativity, self-expression, and artistic skill development while creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Responsibilities Plan and deliver standards-based art instruction for scholars in grades K-8. Develop lessons that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and artistic expression. Introduce scholars to a variety of artistic techniques, mediums, artists, and cultures. Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging art classroom. Display student artwork throughout the school and during school events. Collaborate with classroom teachers and administration to support school-wide initiatives. Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners. Monitor and assess student progress and communicate effectively with families. Maintain accurate records, lesson plans, and student work portfolios.
