Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and passionate Art Teacher to inspire creativity and foster artistic growth among students across various grade levels. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape young minds through engaging art lessons, curriculum development, and classroom management. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for teaching art, strong communication skills, and a commitment to supporting diverse learners. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive art curricula tailored to different age groups and skill levels Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate various artistic techniques and mediums Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity, self-expression, and collaboration Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting respect and inclusivity Assess student progress through projects, presentations, and standardized testing when applicable Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school-wide initiatives Support students' social-emotional development through art-based activities and guidance Requirements Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field; teaching certification preferred Proven classroom management skills with experience working with children in early childhood or preschool settings Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and assessment strategies in art education Experience working with students with special needs or in early intervention programs is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively engage students, parents, and staff Familiarity with childhood development principles and behavior management techniques Prior classroom experience in preschool or private school environments is desirable Join us to make a lasting impact by nurturing creativity and fostering artistic expression in young learners!
Pay:
$52,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
