K-8 Art Teacher

Job Summary St. Louis Catholic Academy is seeking a K-8 Art Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The teacher is responsible for providing art instruction aligned with Archdiocesan curriculum standards while supporting the mission and philosophy of Catholic education.

Responsibilities:

Provide art instruction to students in Kindergarten through Grade 8 Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons Introduce students to a variety of art techniques, media, and styles Prepare student work for displays, exhibitions, and school events Assess student learning and maintain required records Maintain a positive and structured learning environment Communicate effectively with parents and staff Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school activities

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Art Education or related field Missouri teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain) Experience teaching elementary and/or middle school preferred Familiarity with Catholic education preferred
