Art Appreciation Instructor Forsyth Technical Community College - 4.1 Winston-Salem, NC Job Details Part-time 1 day ago Qualifications Computer literacy Teaching visual art Classroom Teaching Teaching Full Job Description Forsyth Tech Fine Arts Forsyth Tech is seeking a part-time instructor to teach appreciation courses in-person on our main campus. in Winston Salem, and at our Stokes Center in Stokes County. These classes will include an online/asynchronous component.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
Must have a Masters Degree or higher in Fine Arts Must have experience teaching Art Appreciation or Art History Must be willing to travel and teach on main campus
Preferred Qualifications Preferred:
Experience teaching asynchronously Experience using Learning management Systems such as Canvas. Essential Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assume responsibility for teaching assignments as designated by the department chairperson and approved by the dean. Assume responsibility for maintaining all required College records, including attendance and grade reports, roll books, etc. Make recommendations to Department Chair for supplies, equipment, and equipment repairs. Construct, administer, and grade examinations. Assume responsibility for being familiar with and adhering to all policies of the College. Model an understanding of and commitment to the comprehensive community college philosophy and mission. Physical Demands
