Job Summary Fiat School of Fine Arts in Schuyler NE is seeking a passionate and energetic Art Teacher to inspire creativity and foster artistic development among students of various ages for the Fall 2026. In this role, you will design engaging lesson plans, facilitate hands-on art activities, and support students' individual artistic growth. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive art curricula tailored to different age groups, including preschool, early childhood, and elementary levels. Create dynamic lesson plans that incorporate various artistic mediums and techniques, encouraging experimentation and self-expression. Manage classroom behavior effectively to foster a positive learning environment conducive to creativity and collaboration. Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing where applicable. Qualifications Proven experience in classroom management and teaching art across diverse age groups, especially in early childhood education settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and classroom management techniques. Familiarity lesson planning, and instructional best practices for working with children. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage students, parents, and team members.
