The candidate should have a Master's degree in education with a concentration in Art or a related field. Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work in a team environment, teach with enthusiasm and energy, create innovative lessons and be open to professional growth. Finally, the candidate must demonstrate a commitment to the Lasallian mission and be able to teach within a loving, caring and supportive environment. Founded in 1850 by the Christian Brothers, La Salle Institute is a college preparatory, coeducational school for students in grades 5-12.
