2026-2027 Position Overview Central College Christian School is seeking a creative, faith-filled Elementary Art Teacher to provide Christ-centered visual arts instruction for students in grades K-5. This .8 FTE role is ideal for an educator who loves helping children develop creativity, artistic skill, and an appreciation for beauty in a nurturing Christian school environment. Key Responsibilities  Teach engaging art lessons that build creativity, skills, and understanding of art.  Instruct students in a variety of media, techniques, and age-appropriate art history.  Foster a positive classroom culture of learning, creativity, responsibility, and respect.  Assess progress, differentiate instruction, and maintain communication with families.  Prepare and display student artwork for classrooms, hallways, and school events.  Model Christian character and integrate biblical values into teaching and relationships.  Support the school's mission through collaboration, involvement, and professional responsibilities. Required Qualifications  Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Elementary Education, Fine Arts, or a related field.  Valid Ohio teaching license or certification.  Experience teaching elementary-aged students preferred.  Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.  Personal faith in Jesus Christ and commitment to Christian education. All faculty members are expected to serve as Christian role models who demonstrate integrity, professionalism, servant leadership, and a commitment to lifelong learning in support of the school's mission.
