July 14, 16, and 17th, 1:00 PM•4:00PM Total Sessions:
3, 3-hr sessions (plus session on first day)Compensation:
$200/session, $700 total Position Overview The Visual Art Studies (VAST) program seeks a Digital Media/Graphic Design professional to lead a three-session workshop within the VAST Summer Art Studio, a 5-day studio art camp for high school students. While the camp runs Monday through Friday, this position is responsible only for three afternoon digital media sessions. Students will complete a focused logo design project, learning foundational design principles and culminating in vinyl cutting and heat press production. Responsibilities Plan and deliver three structured 3-hour workshop sessions Introduce foundational graphic design concepts (vector graphics, typography, layout) Guide students in Adobe Illustrator Prepare files for vinyl cutting and heat press application Provide individual feedback and maintain a safe, organized digital workspace Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Studio Art, or related field Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator Teaching or workshop experience Experience working with high school students Application Materials Interested candidates should submit: A cover letter briefly describing relevant experience in graphic design/digital media and any experience working with high school students or teaching workshops.
