Full Job Description Who We Are:
Young Rembrandts is a step-by-step drawing program that teaches students in various schools throughout the El Paso and Las Cruces region. We currently serve 63 school communities and are always expanding! We are one of the top performing franchises in the nation and help coach our teachers to be the best and to eventually reach the highest performing franchise in the nation. What You'd Do For the first 8 workdays with us you will be trained on the job, with constant feedback and observation, so that when the time comes for you to step into your own classroom, you are fully prepared. Each week is a new or different lesson and you will be trained in our curriculum, our classroom standards, and our communication methods. If you bring energy, patience, and a caring attitude

What We are Looking for:
  • Dependability and promptness
  • Comfort working with children and managing a classroom (we train you on this, so expertise is not required)
  • Willingness and ability to follow set directions from a curriculum
  • Reliable transportation to schools as assigned as well as to team meetings every 6 weeks
  • Must pass a background check
  • Bilingual appreciated, but not required (English/Spanish) Who Would LOVE this job:

We are not a daycare service, we are not babysitters. We are trained, professional educators teaching a proven curriculum and staying up to date on best practices. We have direct relationships with the schools we are present in. Our owner is an El Paso local who prioritizes doing good things to and for the community, so if you are passionate about a particular cause, she looks for ways to help you use what we teach you to benefit that mission. When you join our team, you are a professional and you are entering a supportive community with potential for advancement and specified training based on your particular strengths.
Job Type:
Part-Time (2-10 hours per week)
Pay:
Starting at $10.50/hour, with rate changes and raises based upon performance and job position (this is the starting assistant/training rate, subs and lead teachers are paid different rates)

Requirements:
US work authorization, a passed background check after being offered the job, and reliable transportation
