Art Teacher

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Art Teacher to inspire creativity and foster artistic growth among students of various ages. Duties Design and implement comprehensive art curricula tailored to different age groups, including preschool, elementary, and special education students Develop lesson plans that incorporate various art techniques, mediums, and cultural themes to stimulate creativity and critical thinking Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of children with special education requirements or early intervention programs Assess student progress through portfolio reviews, standardized testing, and informal evaluations, providing constructive feedback Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to support students' overall development in childhood education and literacy education Organize exhibitions or displays of student artwork to celebrate achievements and boost confidence in young artists Qualifications Proven experience in classroom management, lesson planning, and teaching art to children across various age groups Strong knowledge of curriculum development, childhood development principles, and early childhood education best practices Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention settings is highly desirable Familiarity with Montessori methods or preschool experience is a plus Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and colleagues effectively Ability to integrate interdisciplinary subjects such as math or physical education into art lessons when appropriate Knowledge of standardized testing procedures related to arts education is advantageous Prior experience in private school settings or daycare environments enhances suitability for this role Join us as an Art Teacher and help shape the next generation of creative thinkers!
