To Be Determined Job Description Responsible for developing students' creative expression, aesthetic understanding, and visual arts techniques in alignment with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards. Core Responsibilities
Curriculum Delivery:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging visual arts lessons that meet state standards for grades 9-12.
Skill Development:
Teach diverse techniques (e.g., drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture) and art history.
Classroom Management:
Maintain a safe, orderly, and well-equipped studio environment while adhering to district discipline policies.
Student Assessment:
Evaluate and document student progress through projects, critiques, and exams.
Exhibitions & Community:
Organize and display student artwork in school exhibitions, community galleries, or district-wide events. Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
Certification:
A valid Texas Teacher Certificate (specifically the Art EC-12 certification).
Skills:
